To support these needs, Laurus Labs partnered with Standard Engineering Technology (formally Standard Glass Lining Technology Ltd.) to supply glass-lined reactors across their group companies. These reactors were intended for applications involving acidic and alkaline media under varied temperature conditions, which placed high demands on the quality and chemical resistance of the internal lining.
Standard Engineering Technology delivered high-grade glass-lined reactors specifically designed to perform consistently in aggressive chemical processes. During extended usage, the equipment demonstrated excellent resistance to staining and corrosion, even under repeated exposure to strong acids and alkaline compounds.
In a formal performance statement issued by Laurus Labs, the Executive Vice President (Operations) confirmed that the reactors supplied by Standard Engineering Technology showed superior surface endurance. Unlike other makes previously used, no white or red staining was observed on the glass-lining surface, indicating stronger performance in both chemical resistance and surface finish.
The certificate also noted that the reactors handled temperature variations effectively, maintaining structural and surface integrity across a range of operating conditions. This performance has contributed positively to process consistency and equipment reliability at Laurus Labs facilities.
