Natco Pharma Limited is a global pharmaceutical organisation with a strong focus on regulated manufacturing and high quality production standards. To support its chemical and pharmaceutical processing operations, the company partnered with Standard Engineering Technology (formally Standard Glass Lining Technology Limited) for the supply of glass lined equipment and related spares.
The partnership began in 2013, when Natco Pharma required a dependable supplier capable of supporting GMP and CGMP manufacturing environments across its facilities. The client’s requirement centred on reliable glass lined reactors and receivers that could deliver consistent performance, maintain high quality surface finishes, and meet strict regulatory expectations. In addition to product quality, timely delivery and responsive after sales support were key considerations in selecting a long term equipment partner.
Standard Engineering Technology supplied a broad range of GMP and CGMP MSGL reactors and receivers to meet these needs. Over the course of the partnership, approximately 60 pieces of MSGL equipment were supplied, with capacities ranging from 63 litres to 3000 litres. This included the supply of an SSGR with a capacity of 250 litres in June 2016. The supplied equipment was manufactured to meet pharmaceutical processing requirements, with close attention paid to finishing quality, aesthetics, and operational reliability.
Delivery was managed with a strong emphasis on coordination, quality assurance, and adherence to agreed timelines. Manufacturing processes followed established quality controls to ensure consistency across all supplied equipment. Equipment was delivered on time, enabling smooth installation and commissioning while supporting uninterrupted production planning at Natco Pharma’s facilities. Ongoing after sales support further strengthened operational continuity and long term equipment performance.
Following commissioning, the supplied glass lined reactors and receivers have been in regular operation under GMP and CGMP conditions. Feedback from Natco Pharma confirms that the performance of the equipment has been very satisfactory. The quality of finishing, aesthetics, and overall operational performance have been rated very good, supporting stable and efficient manufacturing processes.
