Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories is one of India’s most respected pharmaceutical companies, known for delivering high-quality and affordable medicines globally. In 2014, they selected Standard Engineering Technology (formally Standard Glass Lining Technology Ltd.) as their trusted supplier for glass-lined equipment essential to their production infrastructure.
The project involved supplying MSGL (Mild Steel Glass Lined) reactors and receivers used in pharmaceutical process systems. These components are critical to ensure product purity, process stability, and compliance with regulatory standards. Dr. Reddy’s required durable, corrosion-resistant equipment with varying capacities to meet the needs of multiple production units.
Standard Engineering Technology worked closely with the project and engineering teams at Dr. Reddy’s to deliver a tailored range of MSGL equipment. A total of 60 units were supplied over the course of the collaboration. The equipment ranged in capacity from 63 litres to 10 kilolitres, accommodating both pilot-scale and full-scale production environments.
The equipment was manufactured to strict quality standards and delivered on time as per project timelines. Dr. Reddy’s acknowledged the performance of the equipment as very satisfactory and highlighted the reliability of the supply process.
On 13 November 2018, Dr. Reddy’s formally issued a certificate of equipment performance confirming their satisfaction with the supplied reactors and receivers. The certificate noted the quality of both the products and the service, specifically mentioning the excellent after-sales support and consistent on-time deliveries provided by the Standard Engineering Technology team.
This long-standing relationship, which began in 2014, is built on mutual trust, technical competence, and a shared commitment to quality. The continued use of Standard Engineering Technology’s MSGL products at Dr. Reddy’s sites reflects their reliability and effectiveness in high-performance pharmaceutical manufacturing environments.
With a focus on long-term value, customer service, and equipment performance, this project illustrates how the right partnership can support critical production processes in regulated industries like pharmaceuticals.
